Justice Conversations coming soon…

This year courageous conversations are needed to equip us with the tools to engage in our communities about the things that matter.

How do we engage faithfully about:

  1. God’s creation,

  2. Sharing of resources so all can thrive, and

  3. How Te Tiriti o Waitangi can be honoured.

To do this, we are putting together a 3-part workshop series, launching in May 2026, designed for home groups, churches, or even just a group of friends around a dinner table. We will explore:

Theology: Why Jesus cares deeply about these justice issues of climate, economic and Te Tiriti justice.

Lived experience: How these issues are currently impacting communities across Aotearoa

Action: How the Church can be a voice for transformation in the public sphere.

What to Expect: A "Plug-and-Play" Resource

These workshops follow a "Table Talk" format, designed to be easy for any host to facilitate. Each two-hour session includes:

  • Short, engaging videos featuring leading Christian voices and policy experts.

  • Interactive activities and discussion questions grounded in biblical truth.

  • An easy-to-follow guide for the facilitator.

A note on our approach:

This is about education for discipleship and formation. We draw on lived experience and expert research, in a politically neutral manner. Our goal is to create a safe space for adults to learn how our faith connects to the systems and decisions made by the government in these justice areas.

Will you partner with us to make this a reality?

Common Grace resources have already reached thousands of people in hundreds of churches, equipping them to respond to moments like the Treaty Principles Bill and Māori ward referendums.

Now, we want to take that same approach across all the justice areas we work on to prepare faith communities for the election.

To get this project completed and reach the church of Aotearoa, New Zealand, we need to raise $15,000.

A couple of organisational sponsors have generously provided funds to get this project started; however, we need your help to reach the full amount of funding required.
